DATA STANDARDS CATALOGUE

Purpose
The purpose of this catalogue is to collate data standards, relevant to the built environment, to accelerate their discovery.  By providing a curated list, with additional information such as who published each standard and whether they are freely available, it is hoped that this catalogue will reduce the effort needed to discover and investigate good data practices for the built environment.

 

Audience

Any built environment actor.  Included but not limited to:

  • Agents

  • Building control officers

  • Construction insurers and warranty providers

  • Construction project managers

  • Construction supply chain partners, including project managers

  • Designers, including Architects

  • Engineers

  • Financiers, funders and investors

  • Main contractors

  • Planners

  • Public and private clients

  • Quantity surveyors and cost consultants

  • Specialist consultants

  • Sub-contractors, including installers

Use this form to submit a request to add a standard to the RED Foundation's Data Standards Catalogue.


Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by the Data Standards Steering Group at it's next quarterly meeting. The review will be for consistency, ensuring as far as practically possible that each publisher is interpreting the questions in the same way, and answering in a consistent fashion.


This review may lead to us having to ask for clarification from you.


Please also remember that the RED Foundation is supported by volunteers, and so please bear with us if we cannot respond immediately.
